I think you will get a hip turn when you do a Shooulder Turn Throw. Don't know whether it's a cause and effect thing though. Could also be partly common causes from the feet. I never try to fire the Hips to turn the shoulders. I fire the right hip and try to hold the shoulders back. Quite similar to shoulder throw, although I rarely use the sharp initial acceleration. Then I fire the left hip I pull the shoulder and the arm and the club.
