I'm hitting these days, so I never go to adjusted address, just takes it back from impact fix.
When Yoda make an adjustment to me (in total) I discovered that for me to get the left thumb consistently on the aft side, placing the right hand was the trick for me, much like Thom described.

Also it helped remind me to get the right thumb over and around the shaft as well, something for some reason I still continue to want and let it ride more to the top..

Argh those thumbs... Isn't that something that, the thumbs, that make use different from other animals? And this was a good thing?
