i would stay away from anything other than an open face and angled hinge. why would you make it any harder than it already is.

Thats where I netted out on things. Intentional throwaway can be mastered by some but I personally get better , more consistent results with a flat left wrist and cut shot , angled or vertical hinging .... talking lobs and high soft sand shots . Sweep release helps. Thats just me though after a few years of experimentation with throwaway as a weapon.

Hey Whip Ive got some mp-4's coming sometime this week!!!! You still a mizuno man?
