No . . .

It's because Corey Pavin (almost ten yards behind BG in '09) is now playing the Champions Tour, and there's no tie-breaker in '10 with Craig Bowden!

Serously, it is the same reason #1 Bubba Watson is #152 (of 190) in Scrambling and BG is #8.

The lack of distance -- and remember, this is only by freak TOUR standards -- has nothing to do with 'omitted' Accumulators.

It simply ain't his gift.

How many "Push-ups" can Brian do?

How many can Yoda do?

WOW!!!

I sure wish I could find a face on swing of Brian to match this pic of Duval.

It sounds as though Mr. Kostis was doing a wonderful job of describing David's action, and Brian doesn't even look like he's playing the same game at impact!

Face closed to his right forearm? Well yeah, he's hittin it around the corner Peter!!!

Nobody has better alignments than Brian. OK, maybe I'm a little biased...

Lynn,
Does Brian hit or swing with the driver?

Brian looks more like Westwood at impact

than say Ernie Els

Brian's Stroke exhibits:

Single Wrist Action . . .

'High' Clubshaft at Top of Backstroke . . .

Fixed Lag Pressure Point . . .

Minimum Accumulator Lag in Downstroke . . .

Muscular Drive Loading . . .

Sweep Release with Right Arm Trigger, and . . .

Angled Hinging.

Based on these observations, I say "Hit".

Others may see it differently.

Suffice it to say that Brian himself feels-- and exhibits -- none of the 'opposites' of the Swinger, that is:

Standard Wrist Action . . .

Parallel (or below) Clubshaft at End of Backstroke . . .

Rotating Lag Pressure Point . . .

Maximum Accumulator Lag in Downstroke . . .

Centrifugal Drag Loading . . .

Snap Release with Left Wrist Trigger . . .

Horizontal
Hinging.

Draw your own conclusions.

Its so simple , so beautiful the way he does it too. Like a "machine" or something. I have a feeling we're going to be watching him on TV for a long long time.
