It's not a matter of being on board. Hmm? Maybe I didn't give enough information.
Ok, with any Golfclub:
Left Wrist is, Level, Vertical, Flat.
and
Clubshaft is, Vertical to the Ground at Impact (no forward lean)
Then,
The Clubshaft is on the Elbow Plane.
LT's Left Wrist is not Vertical
His club is on the Elbow plane and his wrist is level
His club is on the Elbow plane and his wrist is level, flat and Vertical
Elbow Plane
Have ya got any pictures with a Clubshaft on the Turned Shoulder Plane?
I don't know about that D . . . Dan Sykes in all them pics 'cep for Lee Buckle . . . Sykes is closer to hands only plane than elbow . . . Still not witcha.
Lynn, I think that you are correct. I think
that the picture is R.H. (Dick) Sikes. I am amazed
that you knew him. I grew up with R.H. and played
on the U of Arkansas Golf Team with him. R.H. won
several Publink Championships and hold the record
of consective matches won, before going on the Tour.

Thanks, Donn.
R.H. Sikes was a great player, and I know you enjoyed being there. One of the benefits of a long life is actually experiencing history, not just reading about it.
A quick story:
Way back when, my daughter, Ashley, was going through some homework questions for her history class. It was mostly post-World War II stuff, but she hadn't done much work and didn't have a clue. Effortlessly, I answered every one . . . correctly!
You are correct sir . . . apologies . . . I was clicking around on that Historic Golf Photos site looking for some stuff. I remember a Sikes dude that look like he had it on the hands only plane to me anyway. Got a lil' confrusedid (not hard to do for Bucket).
By the way that is one fantastic site for anybody who loves to look at sequences and old pics.

Hmm? His hands may be level with his knee-caps, but his Elbow is in his right pocket.
If you have a 29" putter, it doesn't mean that you're using the Hands Only Plane.
