Need a little more time here, Drew. The entire staff remains in recovery!
Some of us need recovery from lack of sleep.
Others, and I'm not going to mention Neil's name, need recovery from alcohol poisoning. The accent became so thick as the night progressed that the guys from the U.K. had a little trouble understanding.
Those of us from the States just had to laugh when everyone else did.

Now give me a break! I seem to remember that I was doing my best "TYLDESLEY" accent.
Tyldesley ,for those of you who don't know is a small town about 10 miles outside Manchester[my town] -and even I need a translator when I go there.
Now all y'all leave me alone!
Seeing as no one else has asked yet, what are the hopes/plans of holding a similar event in 2009?

See post #188.
We did, however, have an informal discussion about doing something "across the pond" in the future. I, however, would not object to a return visit to the Crenshaw/Coore design Cuscowila. The "cottages", where we stayed, could have been right out of House and Garden Magazine, the restaurant truly outstanding, the course designed flowed beautifully to the eye, and the fun/education never stopped. If you missed it this year, don't make the same mistake twice.

When I chose the term Homecoming to define our event, I was looking to the future. The year 2008 saw the inaugural annual event. There will be many more, the next scheduled at Cuscowilla, October 8-11, 2009.

Y'all -- no, make that all y'all -- come!
Got the dates on the calendar! Am I first on the list?

You can count me in! Best start saving the pennies then
