I’m shaking my head again in disbelief. DO NOT ENCOURAGE Bucket and glcoach to continue this kind of armchair analysis. They corrupt and mislead. Participants on this web-site are going to begin believing that TGM is a tool to determine the better Golfer by comparison. The SCORE CARD does that.

Look how our vocabulary has been polluted and deteriorated in this thread alone. New terms are being introduced such as, "LAG look, great pivot, best strong-gripped, shut faced turned grip angled hinger, snaps his left leg, anit-swivel, big lag look, De-lagging, Bedwetter, right-sided slinger, Whale driver. " For what benefit?

Never, in any of the 6 real editions of TGM has HK every compared two Golfers with a side-by-side comparison of components to determine who is using what better than the other guy. The Pro’s have swung their clubs hundreds of thousands of time over a lifetime to find what works for them and Bucket and glcoach appear to have used TGM to analyze their 24 components in 30 seconds (ok, maybe 60 seconds).

TGM is not a search for the perfect swing. This reminds me of kids a a Kung Fu school. AS soon as they learn a little bit of fighting, they go around wanting to beat-everyone-up.

I see your point for some of the above Daryl, but what is the problem with talking about the club someone is using (Whale driver)? Besides, glcoach and the Bucket are putting their "armchair analysis" up for critique. They haven't exactly set up websites full of lies and are unwilling to hear contrary views.

The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)

I thought we were just talking about preferences.

I prefer Boo Weekley's swing. However, Zach has a major and can probably hit more shots and his is the pattern I can probably come the closest to being my model.

As for just knowing enough to be dangerous...That's not really accurate. I do coach this game for a living and develop GIRLS from scratch when they are freshmen, and when they graduate, they likely have a golf scholarship in hand. I don't mean to corrupt anyone, I was just having some fun....sorry.

That is really cool glcoach! Say, if I start left handed this year, what do you think you could do for me?

You aren't far from turning into a girl already . . . I'll take the under on three days and you'll be a left handed woman.

I could help you learn to hit it. But you know more about this stuff than me. I take what I learn and try to apply it to raw beginners and it works pretty well

Chip, Pitch, Punch or basic and acquired motion if you prefer.

I hope no one took by statement the wrong way. I was in no way trying to promote myself or make claims that I am the greatest hs golf coach ever. I was responding to a perceived attack....sorry....once again.
