Am I the only guy around here who uses the same grip for driver, putter, irons et al? Don't see the need for any variation from club to club.

Am I missing something?

No.Other than the fact that some like the left wrist to be level and bent all the way through the putting stroke because most putter grips are different to normal grips

Nope. As long as the ball goes in the hole it doesn't matter.

Interesting. Are saying that the way you form your hands on the putter is exactly the same as you form your hands on your driver or irons for full shots. Thumbs in exactly the same place? V's pointing in exactly the same place? Club held in the fingers exactly the same way?

Have you installed the same kind of grip on your putter that you have installed on your other clubs?

My grip on the putter is, in essence, the same as for other clubs (Vardon) save for the grip running more through the life line of the left hand, as opposed to under the heel pad.
