I played today for the first time since Shirley. I had a very busy work week and have not picked up a club until today. I hit 6 of 14 fairways, missed 3 of them because I drove through the fairway on doglegs, missed the other 3 by a total of 10 yards. 2 drives were just bad. By far and away my best driving day of the year. I didn't hit many greens, mainly due to poor distance control with my irons. I'm still trying to get used to the grip change. I was hitting a lot of iron shots right on line, just a little short. Mostly due to not being fully committed to the shot. I hit a lot of solid shots and my misses weren't nearly as bad. Persistence will be the key.
