Your 'fat' strikes occur because, in the face of the strong downward Thrust, your Left Wrist -- the Master Wrist -- is AWOL. It has abdicated its responsibilities and is no longer serving as Clubhead Control (On Plane maintenance per 7-18 and 10-18 ). Ad s result, the Flail (2-K) ceases to function, and the club simply buries in the ground.

It's a two-handed game.
