As for the progress that Tony has made over the past three years, congrats. As for the instruction he received during his mini lesson, I hope it fell on deaf ears. Heading to the practice tee armed with such information, I fear Tony may not be moving off his 8 handicap for some time.

Great round by BG today. Being a former Gator I hope he continues his fine play. In saying that, I sit way up here in the great white North hoping our hometown boy JK [Jerry Kelly] keeps moving up the leaderboard as well.

Truly missed you in Hawaii this year and wish you the best next week in Orlando.

Thanks for this first post, Jim. Keep'em comin'!

By way of information . . .

Jim Schuman is a long-term member of this site and a Lynn Blake Certified Senior Instructor. He finally got "mad enough" to post! He and I are are coordinating a down-home session in Orlando after the PGA Show.

Jim's the real deal: here's a brief rundown:

We've got hitters here, guys.

This ain't Lynn Blake Chat.

This is Lynn Blake Golf.

Today, we've heard from Jim Schuman. Credentials above.

From Curt Sanders, Lynn Blake Certified Senior Instructor, 2009 and 2010 Carolinas PGA Section Player of the Year. (FYI, The Carolinas Section has more than 2,000 members and is the largest in the world.)

From Rick Murphy, Lynn Blake Certified Senior Instructor, 2009 Carolinas Section PGA Professional of the Year and 2010 Teacher of the Year. (See Carolinas PGA Section stats above.)

From John Riegger, two-time Champion on the Nationwide Tour, including the 2010 Rex Hospital Open with a record breaking score of TWENTY-under par.

And from John Tillery, PGA, Head Professional, Milledgeville CC, Milledgeville, GA, and our newest Lynn Blake Certified Instructor.

Monday morning, at the Faldo Institute in Orlando, Florida, I deliver a main platform presentation to hundreds of PGA of America professionals at the 2011 PGA Coaching and Teaching Summit.

Who ya gonna call?

Meanwhile, Lynn Blake Golf Master Instructors Ted Fort and Jeff Hull are in Port St. Lucie, Florida, preparing for this week's PGA Winter Series Stroke Play Championship, the PGA's signature winter event. More from them as the week progresses and we follow their cards.

This summer, I'll be at Hershey CC, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, at the PGA's Professional National Championship, the most prestigious event of the PGA's rank and file. The Top 20 finishers are exempt into the year's fourth major, the PGA Championship, this year held at the Atlanta Athletic Club in my home town, Atlanta, Georgia. I have four players in the field, Ted Fort, Kip Henley, Jeff Hull, and Curt Sanders.

Hey, Kip Henley . . . isn't he Brian Gay's caddy?

Right you are!

He's also a Class A PGA professional who just happened to win the Tennessee PGA Section Championship this year with a 12-under-par score. This in his "week off" before he carried BG's bag at Whistling Straits in the PGA Championship.

C'mon guys.

Is all this just "luck"?

Just so much "junk science"?

If so . . .

Load me up.
