John, honestly, I think you can have it both ways. CF should square a Clubhead attached to a rope if the center of gravity and face plate are so designed/oriented, and it should be.

Left Arm as "Rope Handle", although Homer never suggested that the Left Arm is a Rope, I, personally, like to think of it that way with almost every swing.

Specifically, the Passive Release of the #2 Accumulator is the Swingers "Rope Handle" Application, while the Active Release of Accumulator #2 is the Hitters Axe Handle Application.

Quote:
Again – any time Accumulators #2 and #3 (the Hands) are employed, but only Pressure Points #1 and/or #4 (the Arms) are used to actuate the Primary Lever Assembly, so that Centrifugal Force alone actuates the Secondary Lever Assembly, this would be the classic golf “Swing” and the Clubshaft would exhibit to the “Rope Handle” characteristics mentioned in 2-K and 10-19. Study 6-C-0.
In this regard, "Rope Handle" means Rising Clubhead Pull. Axe Handle would be steady pushing against Clubhead inertia.
