Anyway, my first question.... (I'm sure there will be many more).

Is the so called tray position at the top ( flat left wrist, right wrist hinged back) only arrived at using angle hingeing or should correct horizontal hingeing reach the same position ? I suspect the former is the case.

The so-called tray position, requires a turn of the hands - a start up swivel, a turn of the hands as the left cocks and the right bends or folds back to the top. This is called Standard wrist action (10-18-A) and is used by “Swingers” who use Horizontal Hinging. Standard is a Turn and Cock of the left wrist to the top.

Hitters uses a Single wrist action (10-18-C) where the left wrist is cocked but NOT turned. This lack of hand motion keeps the clubhead alignments on plane with an angled hinge action. Single is cock and no Turn of the left wrist.
