When you're monitoring the Hands instead of the clubhead it makes it way harder to throw the clubface at the ball. Thank goodness.

In Basic Motion , Homer said to start without a club at first , then with a club. Its the Hands you are swinging, ideally. Its impossible to swing the clubhead when there isnt a club in your hands! He also said that if you arent getting all you want out of your shots despite your knowledge of alignments ..........."Stop monitoring the clubhead instead of the hands".

I could kick myself for not figuring this out earlier. It was a concept I had known intellectually but not taken to heart. How Homer figured this one out is beyond me. All you ever get in golf magazines is "keep your eye on the ball". Homer qualified it with the Aiming Point concept, looking fore or aft of the ball to great advantage and watching the hands peripherally as opposed to the clubhead.

He was sensory based, Homer was. Im talking vision here but it goes oh so well with the touch , Lag Pressure awareness its sustainment and the direction there of (deliver path).

Homer was a genius.
