Sam Snead advised putting the Hands at Address "in the holster".

Just inside the left thigh.

Then, Ball Location and the Flat Left Wrist at Impact determines the correct amount of Clubshaft "Forward Lean".

All this supposes you have correctly located your Pivot Center.

The Stationary, Swiveling Head, for example. Or, if you prefer, the 'Point Between the Shoulders'.

Either way, the Swiveling Head or the 'Point' centers BETWEEN THE FEET.

This discipline encourages and promotes Centered Arc and Balance, i.e., keeping the 'Center of
Gravity 'between the feet'.
