I believe I have had an Ephipany. A fundamental element of consideration I have not applied in almost ALL the questions/answers I have been searching for.
REACH at set up. Give me a repeatable "formula" for a club by club alignment of set up reach. I have applied the "let your arms hang" principle for ALL CLUBS. That meant a 4-6 inch hand spacing at set-up, I am coming to the conclusion that I should not hang but reach on the longer clubs. Therefore 9-10 inch hand space on long club. Therefore the ball is now ~ 3 in. further out on address. I will not even bore you with the untold problems tight hands "seem" to create.
I have searched and find very little on this subject, like it is almost taken for granted. I have looked numerous clips of the better players an they "all" reach for the ball at address. Please give me some feedback.
Thanks
The Bear
