It helps me realize that i should go back to what worked for me. I had a feeling my intuition was correct. I had my best gains when i: ate correctly (thats #1 i think), lifted heavy with low reps for around 4-6 weeks then lifted a little lighter with slightly higher reps for about 2-3 weeks and then back to the heavier weights.
