I watched all of Brian's victory on the tele - absolutely amazing. But, I am one of the unwashed that is confused. Why does Brian straighten his legs through impact? I do find this useful in my own swing, but, don't really understand what it is doing for him or me.

He is bracing his (lower) body for the throw out action of his accumulators
