Roll a club on a tabletop. The grip end stays on the table (plane), the hosel moves out, around the sweet spot.

The shaft is NOT "the" plane.

Jack is angled hinging.

The straightening right arm controls the rate/rpm of the rotation, and no, I am not suggesting a swivel as hinge action a AJ does.
