Fifty years playing golf, 30 years as a PGA Professional, and NEVER have I heard or read anyone explain putting the way it is explained by Lynn and VJ. Having said all that, my putting (indoor only) has still been mediocre at best. Until just now...in addition to incorporating a more active right forearm in my start-up, and doin' my best to trace the line with my right forearm down the line, my results have been spotty. However, this morning I added a new wrinkle...at address, I began to aim my putter sight lines toward the inside aft quadrant of the ball, and trying to then strike the inside aft quadrant, with my right forearm going down the line. The result is ball after ball after ball going in the hole DEAD CENTER from 7-8 feet. I know this is indoors, no pressure, etc. , BUT ,this is amazing for my eyes to see... balls rolling into the hole time after time. This from a guy who, many years ago as an assistant, played in a local tournament at Oakmont CC, 36 holes on a Monday, hitting 34 greens in regulation and shooting 81-83. I no longer compete, but I still want to play good golf, and part of good golf is "rolling the rock"...Thanks again, Lynn! __________________ "You cannot clear up the water until you get the pigs out of the creek."
