One ofthe pillars of Power in G.O.L.F. is the Right Shoulder Turn thrust againstPressure Point #4 (where the Left Arm contacts the side). That Action producesthe "blast off" of its kissin' cousin, the #4 Master Accumulator, theangle formed between Left Arm and the Left Shoulder.

Years ago, I was discussing this move with Larry Nelson,the great champion of both the PGA Tour and Champions Tour. He told me that itwas his key swing thought when he won his very first professional tournament in Peachtree City, Georgia. Preceded by a strong lower body drive, his powerfulRight Shoulder Thrust directly toward the ball welded his Left Arm against hisleft pectoral.

"Larry," I said mischieviously, "in thelingo of The Golfing Machine, this is called 'pivot power supplying the initialacceleration of the downstroke to throw the lever assemblies toward impact bythe thrust of the shoulder turn.' What do you call it?"

With an impish grin and a twinkle in his eye, the softestspoken man on Tour replied:

"I call it my 'one-titty' swing!"



I might add that Larry won the U.S. Open that same yearat Oakmont C.C. One-titty swings, anyone??!!
