This is different for different hinge actions as they have different clubhead travel time but should be about same location of the hands. The horizonatal hinge action employed by swingers has the longest amount of clubhead travel, while vertical hinging has the shortest travel. Angled Hinging typically employed by hitters has a shorter clubhead travel time than horizontal hinging, however the hands are in about the same possition.
