thanks for the reply. if thrusting with the right shoulder, would that initiate the pivot as well? i'm getting close, just need a little clarification. the video segments are good.

What actually happens is that the Feet starts the Downstroke (study last sentence in both 7-17 and 6-B-0) then the knees, and then the hips,..., then the right shoulder, etc. to give the Stroke maximum Swing Radius.

But from a procedural point of view (i.e. what you actually think about when hitting a ball), this may not be ideal. You should probably feel the Right Shoulder thrusting down Plane (which loads Pressure Point #4) happening at the same time as the Hip Slide.
