Iceberg dead ahead is how serious this is. jumped in a life boat and ended up here.

Symptoms - Im hitting top-spinning hooks with the woods Its happened to me before and eventually i got over it, but the bugger has poped back to say "how you doin".. not too bloody well thankyou!

additional info. most of my practice is with wedges (limited space), could this be a factor? Im hitting my wedges and mid irons fine. also I'm not 100% sure that my left wrist isnt bending some with the woods.. likely result a top spin hook?

went on the range today after a game (hit only 4/15 fairways, 8 of the misses big duck hooks with either driver or 3wood) and was trying some things (no clue). Had some success when emphasising the feel of the right shoulder moving downplane. But my shots were still all over tha place.

HELP!

IF... you are hiting big draws with the wedges in practice... that could translate to big hooks with the driver. I would suggest... if you can only practice with the wedges ... make the ball flight straight, or hit little fades for a while.

You will probably want to have an AI film your swing... if the problem persists.

Also... if you are practicing mostly short shots... use 12-5-1, then 12-5-2 as guides. Your hands may need some refresher education.
