(Fortunately I live in CA where this is no doubt legal ).. here is what I am finding out using TGM ,and I invite ANY help someone wants to render. Background - tradition golf swing until knees and back went south on me. Tried to become a hitter. What I have found is that IF I try to be a hitter, as in purely hitting, I make really good contact about once in 7-8 shots. When I DO make contact it goes a long way. However almost everything else is thin. If I switch back to swinging, but using a hitters grip (palm grip ala Moe Norman) I make consistently good contact, but do not have the same distance. PLEASE do not misunderstand. I am not trying to be a gorilla out there, I don't hit the ball very far anyway, and can use all the distance I can muster. I am also not sure (having not tried it for an extended period of time) if my back will withstand that rhythmic but Centripetal motion of swinging.
