Has selection of HG's improved? When I was fit only the blade type was available. As you can well imagine they are well worn and in need of replacement.

In a fitting session that lasted four-hours, it's safe to say that Billy McDonald and I tested every reasonable Clubshaft-Clubhead combination...Hitting and Swinging! I finally decided on the new RDH3 head www.henrygriffitts.com/RDH3.asp. Better said, it decided for me! Somewhere along the way I had stopped 'testing' and was just enjoying hitting Ball after Ball into a slight breeze. High shots. Low shots. Fades. Draws. The dreaded Straight Ball. Billy snapped me out of it and mercifully stopped the marathon session with this remark:

"This must be the one you like...you've hit the last fifty balls with it."

As usual, he was right, and the proof was in the pudding. I played my first round with the new sticks at Atlanta Country Club, for thirty years the site of the PGA TOUR's Atlanta Golf Classic, and shot 70.

They haven't left my bag since!
