Ballooning issue
I was working on my Hitting motion today in a moderate head wind and found that I really couldn't control trajectory anywhere near as well as when swinging. I was using Ted's pattern and getting excellent compression, but too much spin given the steeper plane angle than I normally use while swinging. How much of this ballooning is it reasonable to attribute to shaft flex issues? I had plenty of sizzle and a nice solid 'crack', but it was an odd flight for as well as impact sounded. High and straight but just died at the apex without much control.

A bit of a toe impact at times, given the steeper angle, which is a factor too.

I guess I'll just have to convince the wife I need another set of irons for when I feel like Hitting!
