However, that isn't going to last . This has been an up & down year for me. Most up, birth of my third son. But golfwise, I've had some real good shots and some really bad shots. Since golfing season is just about over, I've decided that it's back to square 1 and to the basic motion curriculum I go. I decided to start this thread as kind of my log in going though this. Please feel free to comment, encourage, razz, whatever. (as if anyone needed permission to do so ) Part 1 Basic Requirements One thing really caught my attention. Attach the items listed in the Three Stages, in sequence, without unnecessarily interrupting the Motion. When I looked at the next page, it struck me some of my problems were I was taking things out of sequence. Grip & stance are first (which wasn't earthshattering) and then left arm motion, then straight left arm and flat left wrist. Further down the list, noticed that mastering PP#2 came before mastering PP#3. And right forearm tracing came before fanning or extensor action. And until I get down the basic motion, I shouldn't even worry about wristcock or wrist action or endless belt effect. Man, what am I getting into? Slow, smooth, continuous motion up-and-back, down-and-out, and up-and-in same distance back and through. Carefully develop the Address Routine. Make no adjustments during the Stroke (OK, so I don't exactly know what that means) rchang72 View Public Profile Send a private message to rchang72 Find all posts by rchang72
