Last week was the first sustained time watching him on TV because of the rain and they were featuring Dustin Johnson the first two days a couple things stuck out. I saw very few iron shots that were leaving him virtual tap ins for pro's (less than 5') and he was really not taking advantage with wedges on par 5's.

The Peter Kostis analysis of this particular golf stroke was at his dismal best. The man has absolutely no clue regarding the shot being played or the procedure used to execute it.
Does anybody else out there see a right-to-left dogleg being played perfectly with a Closed Plane Line (for a draw shot) and its Parallel Stance Line? Also, a Clubshaft that, parallel to the ground in the Backstroke, is also perfectly parallel with that Closed Plane Line?

This is beautiful right here . . . . Kostis can continue to stick his head where the sun don't shine . . . . but you get your golf club working like this and there's not a whole lot that's gonna go wrong as far as crooked goes . . . hello mr. clubhead let me introduce you to my friend mr. line o. compression. Awesome stuff here.
Oh and I reckon if he was to hit it 20 yards farther he'd be able to shoot 63 in the final round and win a couple of times . . . oh wait . . . . .

Kostis says if BG would rotate his legs more through impact and stop straightening them -- like Laura Davies -- he would hit it further. Oh, sorry, I forgot . . .
Laura Davies is one of the longest hitters in the history of women's golf.
I sure wish I could find a face on swing of Brian to match this pic of Duval.
It sounds as though Mr. Kostis was doing a wonderful job of describing David's action, and Brian doesn't even look like he's playing the same game at impact!
Face closed to his right forearm? Well yeah, he's hittin it around the corner Peter!!!
Nobody has better alignments than Brian. OK, maybe I'm a little biased...
