I lived overseas in Italy during my senior year for 5 months and was given a very difficult assignment. I had to view the Japanese movie "RAN" and decipher the Italian subtitles. My first attempts were somewhat lacking owing to the wonderful Italian female translators we were lucky to find and their interest in "America!"

I saw the movie four times and my head still hurts whenever it comes on TV.

I think I proposed to several of my translators but I wasn't really sure of what I was saying.

Of course, we are all pulling for Japan in its time of terrible troubles. We will help that country, I believe, if we can keep our POTUS on the golf course and interested in our fine college athletes during "March Madness."
