iPhone App's 4 Golf
While browsing the app store, there are numerous golf app's. Like GPS etc. I will try some of them- like the free ones- but, was interested in the experience by other members using iphone app's for golf??

I tried a couple, and the GPS accuracy wasn't as good on the iphone as it was on my igolf neo or friend's sky caddies. It's like the iphone wasn't updating my position as frequently, and it was regularly more than a club off. That was with an iPhone 3G, though. I haven't tried it on my 3gs or iphone 4.

iPhone Addiction Is for Real, Says Stanford Study

You know how people with iPhones seemingly can’t talk about anything else, constantly wanting to show you this "amazing" app, or mocking your BlackBerry or (gasp) flip phone as they search for the nearest ATM within a two-mile radius of an American Eagle or whatever? Well, it turns out they’re not even the worst of it!

A survey of 200 Stanford University students has revealed that, yes, iPhone addiction is legit. Nearly half of the respondents said they are “very or completed addicted” to their devices. Okay, not that surprising. But, in some truly bizarre findings, 3 percent said they don’t let anyone else touch their iPhone, 9 percent “have patted” their iPhone (is that a euphemism for something? Actually, never mind), and … 8 percent (so sixteen real, human Stanford students) admitted that at one point they have thought: "My iPod is jealous of my iPhone.”

If you're insinuating that you want to touch my iphone, you can think again.

Unless of course you're talking about the one with the orange case..I call him Andrew...that one isn't really my favorite. I have pictures of all my others here in my wallet if you'd like to see them?!?

Shush..!
Thanks BamBam, I had to wait till the iphone and ipod were asleep to tell U this on my PC. BUT, I found the Iphone jumps around in locating current position- like within +/- 10-20 yards circle and takes a long time to "settle". Not that great for golf.

For any instructors out there, Curt was showing me the V1 iPhone app at the Barclay's and it is quite nice.

Worth a look for those times you want to catch some video but don't have your camera setup.

I use my iPhone all the time for teaching as well. I don't have a range at my facility, so I am constantly traveling to meet people. So much easier than hauling the camera and tripod around. V1 on the iPhone is great, but I use Swing At 'Em golf most of the time. Incredible little app...

Here is a great little invention you can use along with your golf bag or cart as a tripod.
