I think Tiger is known for his right hand/arm only practice drill. To me it indicates that he's controlling speed with his #1 accumulator. So I would believe he's more of a hitter with the flatstick.
But surely I could be wrong.....

Plane-Trace, Lag-Stress, Face-Hinge....how hard can it be
It looks like angle hinge putting style. The shaft looks to be on plane, and the face at right angle to the plane. And to be such a wonderful putter, you know his focus is on the hands, not open-close or inside-square-inside. Just an idea.
I think that he uses a peck minor stroke, stopping his hands at impact an letting the left wrist bend in order to "release the putter". I have herd from some people who work at Mcleans golf academy, and have acces to tons of great info about tour players, that he actually increases the loft of his putter by up to 6 degrees.
I am not sure which acumulator he uses primarily, however in his book how I play golf it shoes that he grips the club under the heel pad of his hand, meaning that he also has some ACC#3 in his putting stroke.
Just shows how great his touch is!

If the right wrist flattens at or around impact, you will suffer from trajectile disfunction.
He grips it under the heal of his left hand, so lots of #3. Although his Dad always wanted him to be more upright with his shaft angle, like he was at the Masters in 97. He has a definite three Stations, Address, Top, Finish with an associated Lag Pressure for the distance at hand. He is equally paced on both sides of the ball and both sides are equally long. So no hit at the ball but a personal preference for a slightly faster paced tempo. Tight ish grip pressure. He says he is primarily right sided, practices with just his right arm but he doesnt extend his arms to both arms straight so it looks like a pivot stroke. A right armed stroke with no extension? He "releases the putter" whatever that means I dont know, sounds like more than Angled, but Im not sure. He practices with a string line which suggests he is tracing an arc of approach.
Oh, and he sinks everything. Best ever maybe. But he wasnt as kid or early on as a pro. Very, very unusual. What did he learn?
It is official Okie putts better with a #3Acc angle. Why? Firstly, if "feels" better because it is similar to the degree of #3 that I have in my normal grip. In the cup of the hand feels awful (always has) uncocking the left wrist feels even worse (this actually transfered to my full stroke grip ) I had a hard time keeping the right wrist level when the left wrist is uncocked...anyone else? Does'nt zero #3 promote the face flashing closed? The more gradual travel with #3 has vastly improved my rhythm. I am looking for some understanding on perhaps why this makes such a big difference. It would seem that I am a double barrelled putter? #4 and #3...BUT I feel that my distance control is what is most improved. I do not know why this is so. Why is as important to me as how!
