Question on Left Arm
*** Please forgive the lack of terminology - I am trying ***

I went to the range today to hit some chips with a flat left wrist. Wasn't so much focused on the hinge, mostly on keeping the left wrist flat through impact. Midway through the bucket I was pleased with the results and wanted to try the 3/4 and full swings - I lack discipline. The main thing I wanted to do was try out the 3 things from the DVD.

1. Flat left wrist
2. Right forearm takeaway
3. Left arm hinge (specifically keeping the left arm going as in the video where VJ had the towel and let it fall to the ground on the finish.) I don't do that which I think leads to a bent right wrist and fat shots.

So I hit some full shots with the pitching wedge trying to focus on the three things above. The contact was solid, distance was normal, and feel was very different. What I noticed was I was drawing the ball slightly (5 yards or so.) Not every time but fairly consistently. Is this normal? Perhaps it's the club face angle at address as I usually address a tadbit closed?

On a sidenote, I've always been told get your arms extended at the end but nobody ever showed me that the left arm can come away from the body. I've had 4 different instructors and when the towel/headcover was used, I was told to keep it under my arm all the time. At the same time I've never really been able to get both arms fully extended. After watching the video segment with the towel, and putting it to practice, I can get my arms fully extended now. Perhaps the fully extended arms are part of my draw thing above?
