I've seen enough perfect finishes with horrible impacts that I have to disagree. Fall over with a flat left wrist, straight plane line and clubhead lag and you can get a good shot. I agree with where Homer listed balance.
Don't throw the baby out with the wash Trick shot artists hit great shots often in out of balance positions (don't see too many of them playing on the tour, however) Balance is essential to consistently hit quality shots. Proper impact is critical, but balance is what allows it to be repeatable!!
