A day in the life..... the Henrico County Open (Nationwide) with Team LBG
Just returned from a day on the Nationwide Tour with Lynn, what a treat!

The day began, as it ended, with some pretty big storms moving through, but in between I met up with Lynn and witnessed the true magic of TGM in action.

After picking up Lynn at his hotel, we headed out to the course. We parked 100 yards from the first tee -- his credentials get you through a lot of checkpoints! -- took a quick walk around the grounds and stopped in the clubhouse for some lunch before the afternoon tee times. No doubt about it, the word on TGM and LBG is spreading quickly, as evidenced by the reactions of the players as we walked through. We met up with Greg Kraft, and his lovely wife Paula, at lunch and then it was off to the range to see John Riegger warm up for his round.

Man, he's got some great compression! A very "Hogan" like power package and as solid and powerful as it gets.

Next it was down to the other end of the range and a session with Lynn and Greg. He's got a wonderful motion. Reminds me a lot of Jose Maria's move (one of my favorites). The best part of watching this lesson -- seeing that everything Yoda teaches to his students is consistent. In the past two years, I've seen him with players at all levels, and the message is always the same. TGM through and through. The beauty at the PGA TOUR level is how quickly players can obtain significant improvements by understanding the alignments, the flying wedges and pressure points. Wedges in place, level left wrist at address, plane line tracing - boom, another well compressed rocket.

Afterwards, we went out and followed Greg for his front nine (started on the back). Startdown waggle, plane line tracing, right forearm on plane -- boom! You could really 'hear' the difference between Greg's impact and that of the other players. The unmistakable sound of well compressed shots. You can see the competitive fire in his eyes, Greg will be lifting some crystal with that right forearm soon, no doubt.

Thanks Lynn, it was a very enjoyable day, and thanks as well to John (who gave me 'player guest' tickets for the week) and Greg, it was a pleasure to meet you both.

Nothing like a well credentialed Yoda in the front seat!

Thanks for sharing a great time. The LBG family is getting bigger. (Ted's making it younger!)

Ed - I'm Jealous.
Hope you get many more opportunities and the way things are going, I think you will.
