Dave,
I'm not 6b but his post seems clear to me. He is saying that
1) When you respond to someone's post with "Whatever???" It is interpreted as immature, unprofessional, degrading, etc. 2) He's tired and doesn't want to be involved in any post where anyone is promoting right arm swinging as the best and most wonderful and left arm swing is something less. Or put another way on the wider level - any post where a certain pattern or TGM proponent like Tomasello is held above everything or everybody else. Finally, he's saying that there is a Billy Joel song that kind of points this attitude out- I have no idea which one- maybe "Uptown Girl".

3) And Yes in regards to your original question, he has taken a lesson from Ben Doyle in person.

Hope that helps you in understanding what he was saying. Bear in mind that's my interpretation and therefore if I mistated something we couldn't hold it against 6B, as it is possible that I may have missed a specific point here or there. But my post gets you close enough.

Billy Joel references....spare me. Mike you're way off base with your comments about maturity and professionalism. You don't know me...you would eat your words if you really did...

Mike O, it's a shame you didn't get to study with Tomasello...some time today I'll transcribe Tomasello's comments about 7-3, I'm pretty sure you will find them enlightening.

You guys have to rise above this petty adolescent type nonsense. I feel like I'm continually going against tag team matches...first it's Mike O and Philly....now it's Mike O and 6B....trust me, you're feeding the fire for more study regarding Tomasello's insights, I think we all are trying to get at the truth. I also think it's safe to say Tomasello was communicating with Homer up until his passing. To me it's reflected in the 7th edition...I'm just trying to put the pieces together....how can you guys give me a hard time about that (it's the old pot calling the kettle black)...by continually studying TGM you're doing the same thing...trying to get at the truth. I'm sorry that our views about the truth are different.

Please DG. Feeding the fire?? Sounds like a threat that everyone is going to clamper to TT tapes because a few of us are tired of the broken record you post.
That is grabbing at straws. I don't care where people wind up in the book- in any edition (I chose the 6th- the last one Homer published)- BUT YOU DO.

Rt Arm Swing is great - Go for it. But if anyone has a narrow, ahh LIMITED view- it is you.

Sorry folks

Mike....please stop responding to my posts (I have asked you to do this in the past, what happened???)...we go no where. No Mike, I'm not grabbing at straws...just the truth my friend.

Don't worry, I'm not trying to threaten anyone...again you took that the wrong way. I'm actually being inspired by you guys to complete my analysis of the way Tomasello learned TGM from Homer. I believe the only thing that can happen is being threaten by the truth...no threats coming from me.

Broken record...golfers winning tournaments at all levels after studying with Tomasello is a broken record...the record is....golfers who studied with Tomasello have gone on to win Major Tournaments, PGA tour events, amateurs who have reduced their handicap to scratch....that's a broken record. Like they say in New York...."YA GOTTA TO BE KIDDING ME".

NO, Tomasello didn't teach right arm swinging....he taught TGM swinging. More specifically, a right armed approach to the game per 7-3. Magic of the Right Forearm.

Mike O and bucket,
so what is it that DG does? Is it a Right arm swing or right arm approach? I don't care which it is- I'm glad DG is a great golfer but his posts are like broken records and condensending to many.

I'll tell him that but he took his ball and called mom.

Dave,
Just a few comments for clarity. I don't know 6bMike, I've never spoken to him on the phone, I've never had one PM or email communication with him. There is no tag team. You said that you didn't understand his post- I was responding to your post because I thought I did understand his post.

I wasn't necessarily saying you were immature or unprofessional - if you read my comment on that I specifically put it in a way that said - "Dave, Maybe you are not aware that when you post "Whatever???" it can come across as "I heard you and it doesn't mean anything to me!" So it was just a heads up in case you had missed that, as you may be a very mature and professional person and not realize how 6b interpreted your post.

Thanks Dave,
Mike O.
