New TGM believer here
I don’t necessarily have any questions to be asked at this time since you all have done a wonderful job of providing countless hours of reading material to get me started here. Mainly I just wanted to thank everyone here for the contributions they have made to this great site and introduce myself as I start my journey into TGM golf.

Like many people who play the game of golf I have struggled to develop any type of consistent play for the whole 11 years I have been playing the game. A few years ago I got a lot of time in on the golf course and had my handicap to around 18, which for the inconsistent swing I had was pretty remarkable to me. But these past couple years I have only been able to find time to play about 18 holes a week with a couple trips to the range a month. I have also developed quite a bit more power to my game and that only seems to compound my errors. This season I am playing to a 24 and even though I still love the game, my play makes it stressful at times.

I am so happy I have found this site and the TGM instructional methods. In the past few days I have found a handful of swing flaws or “wobbles” as some might call them here. Flat Left Wrist is definitely a problem at times and always in the swivel to finish. My right elbow also has a tendency to get trapped behind my hip on the backswing and as a result my Flying Wedges are all over the place. I have spent most of the last few days working on the basic motion and think I have a basic understanding of the motion. Now I am working on the acquired motion, I can see how it received that name as it has really felt awkward. I probably am going to be staying on this motion for a while to imprint the new motion with swivel into the memory bank.

Anyhow I wanted to say hello, Gene from Michigan.

Welcome aboard, Gene, and thanks for your first post. You will have a lot of questions along the way. Ask'em...

There are a lot of folks here to help.

just a little update since I recieved my book yesterday. It seems that everytime I start to get frustrated grasping a concept that I am studying ala 10-10-D,10-9-A, 6-B-3-0-1 or basically anything, all I really need to do is have a little patience. After thinking over it for a bit the egg cracks and I gain a bit of clarity. Now with clarity of these things I can begin to impliment them.

These pages of the forum have also provided countless much needed supplimentary learning material that I am grateful of.
