When you have the best putting rounds do you recall if you were using angled, vertical or horizontal hinging? Or a certain hinge action for short putts and different action hinge for longer putts?

I don't believe horizontal motion is one to use in putting.
Vertical hinging works for the very short putts I quess.
Both vertical and especially angled for the longer ones.
