Does stopping at the Top as in hitting verses going to End as in swinging result in less clubhead speed since the distance the clubhead travels is less?
In hitting, taking it to end will result in less force. If you go to end, you are preparing for longitudinal acceleration. In hitting you need radial acceleration. A hitter that goes to end will encourage clubhead throwaway. I've really increased my distance by shortening my stroke. I know... it sounds ridiculous, but it works.
Homer said, "take it back as short as posible, until you start losing distance."
