Thanks, Okie . . .

The LBG Homecoming Classic will be a post-season event.

It's not the just the PGA, Okie. That one event -- albeit a 'major' -- affects relatively few people in our world. It's the 'whole season' realities we must consider.

I want this to be a mega-blowout event. I want top flight professionals in all the important disciplines -- tournament play, golf stroke, course management, physical and mental -- to participate. I can't do that at a price that is affordable to the majority of those who would like to attend if I do it in the summer.

Plus . . .

It's cooler later in the year.

If you want to insult Ted then go ahead but don't insult me- Hit'm Come ON!

I usually always play and practice- maybe not that good but I'm always trying to get better. However, over the last three months haven't touched a club. I have been busy at work and looking at moving to Maine- so I've been stressed 24/7 with business, real estate and personal stuff. Lately I lined most of it up and got it on the tracks - Hence, these wacky posts to release some stress!

Now, the important thing is the tournament and the rules for lining up a partner- Lynn any rules? I know I said Scramble last time but that was a mistake- Best Ball! We'll need an LBG traveling trophy(s) for the year - one for each player of the winning team! It should be one big motha trofy - I might suggest that we have one full time Hitting team- just so we can make fun of them later at the bar.

Firstly, I'd have to pull a Bucket and have me play with me. I haven't seen the Hitting contingent on the list.

Secondly, what are you going to do? Are you going to make fun of how bad the Hitter's strokes looked when they won by eight shots?

Note: The was no centripetal force used in the making of this post.

Notice that my quote does not appear in the box as all the other quotes do. Reason? I was misrepresented. I never said the above! Further, I've never made fun of Ted, and I especially wouldn't months before potentially meeting him. I may have poked fun at people he's beaten by numerous shots on the course, but never him. Although, I should say, there is no way anyone can hit the ball well with their hands that far forward at address . . . Wait, Ted's going to hit one, better not look or I'll be proved wrong!

By the way, I shot 39 on the front 9 of Colonial Country Club from the back tees with the hands WAY forward, hmmmm, maybe it can work. I made it through the horrible horseshoe without losing too much blood.

The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)

If in fact it is a four ball event (best ball is not recognized by the USGA), I will take my man Chris Asbell. We are the Georgia PGA four ball champs and both swingers.

I understand that there are some cavemen coming you might be able to partner with or, like you stated, you could just play with yourself (the door is now open bucket).
