We're just meaner and like to tell people how mean we are. It's a testosterone thing. We like telling people how much we can tear things up (ie. the ground, the back of the ball). Swingers, in my presumptious and humble opinion, are thinking about butterflies and waterfalls.
As a recovering switter (now that you sting like a bee, instead of float like a butterfly), what did you think about? How to tear the wings off a butterfly?
I think of beating the butterfly silly with a bat.
