Thanks...that makes sense. I am sure it is extremely important from the aspect of applying pressure from the aft side of the shaft for club stability in the hands...but this would explain why its not mentioned as much with the forums since it doesn't have a direct involvment in the backstroke or the downstroke drive as far as feel goes.
