first i must say what a pleasure it is to find this site. i have again realized that i am a hitter of the ball.i have no problems with iron clubs, but woods,whether it be driver or 3 wood give me fits. i tend to hit them either low or low and left. i believe it is because i am still trying to swing the club and either sway ahead of the ball or i am closing the face and smoothering the ball. it is frustrating my game. any and all advise is welcome. thank you also do hitters loose a club in length to swingers?
DO NOT believe ANYONE that says to "catch the ball on the upswing." You need to take an air divot when hitting anything off of a tee. In other words, the club has to still go DOWN to LOW POINT after impact. If you don't, you'll be caught steering. Additionally, there shouldn't be a loss in distance.
