Video - On-plane right forearm / hole'ies and pole'ies
Here is another clip from my DVD with Yoda. This one is pretty instructional with regards to setting up with your right forearm On Plane. This was a huge change for me at the time.
As a side note, Yoda tells me about a game he plays called..."Hole'ies and Pole'ies". :D http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/public_...liesPolies.wmv |
Thanks for posting this!
Anybody else start fumbling around for a club to start doing one-arm, on-plane chips? |
Trig,
what club were you hitting? |
I practice with the left arm a lot doing the same thing for smoothing out my swinging procedure....

Trig,
That is great stuff...... and I'm going to try that out. I'm having some issues with the right forearm and I believe this will help. Thank you.... |

The Swing Doctor's Cure
Interestingly, I had a chance to hit a very few balls this morning and took it. After a few decent Iron shots, I reached for the Driver. I was working on a Power Move (Zone 2) -- Pivot Controlled Hands Alert!! -- and left the Ball right (and pretty well right at that) on the first few Shots. Years ago, that would have put me in a major league funk and probably have led to a walk in my own Black Forest.
Not this time. Not with TGM on call. I diagnosed the error as a Plane Problem -- Zone 3 -- and immediately applied my Rx: Right Forearm Plane Line Tracing. The first Shot took off like a bullet directly toward my Target. As did the next and the next and the next. Problem solved. The Zone 2 Power Component had been integrated, and the Zone 3 Precision alignments had been restored. I put the Club back in the Bag and headed to the car. Somewhere between then and now I remembered the long-ago words of Homer Kelley: "You'll want to insure that Right Forearm and #3 Pressure Point for a million dollars." |
Using the right forearm tracing while keeping a stationary head produces crisp shots. Question - Is there enough power in using this method for full shots? Seems like the main/sole power source is the right triceps.
