Sustaining the line of compression ?

Hi all,

Been reading the forum for a while, what a mine of info and gems it is to help further core knowledge.

First post, please be gentle with me, a relative newcomer to TGM and still finding my way.

Im looking for some drills / training aids/ further explanation of sustaining the line of compression. I hit the ball and control my swing in general with my hands, particularly pp#3

Developing this method fairly well, but have trouble gaining maximum compression with my irons. I can feel what im not doing, and thats maintaining a FLW and lag pressure through to full extension.I have tried many drills and aids but cant seem to nail a "feel" that gives me good compression, drag the wet mop comes closest.

Hope ive explained myself well enough for someone to guide me forward with this. I`ll be lurking if anyone further details to clarify things.

Many thanks in advance :salut:
