Consolation Pole-ie
 

Almost had my first slam dunk hole-ie and first eagle on a non-drivable par 4 tonight! I had about 100 yards into a mostly hurting wind. Played a smooth punch wedge about 10 feet left of the pin and the wind brought it back perfectly. From my view it looked like it went straight in the hole and bounced out, but upon closer inspection it landed an inch short of the hole then hit the flag stick before stopping a few inches away for an easy birdie. :)

My match play opponent made me putt it. :mad: Needless to say, he putted everything out the rest of the night!!
