I was very priviledged to work with Yoda on Alignment Golf II. We shot a bunch of footage over the three days and Lynn was a real pro. Of course he has an incredible ability to explain the golf swing, but he also has a natural gift to shine in front of the camera. He makes it look easy.

I have certainly used Alignment Golf to help my teaching and playing, and I look forward to adding Alignment Golf II to my collection. I think everyone will enjoy the production and I can't wait for its release.

Curt Sanders

Curt Sanders yesterday shot 67 (-4) in the first round of the Carolinas Open and is tied for first. This prestigious event is being contested at Surf Golf and Beach Club in North Myrtle Beach, NC. It has a long history (since 1923) and has a stellar list of past champions. I'll put up a thread in our On Tour With LBG Forum so we can follow the action.

I'm just back from Wilmington, NC, where I spent four days working with Curt and Billy Anderson (head professional at Eagle Point Golf Club) and a cross-section of their membership. Billy shot 70 (-1) and is currently T-8.

Go get'em, guys!

Squirrels and Nuts

Curt's in today at 69 and tied for the lead at -6.

Asked after the round about his game, Curt had this to say:

"In golf you're always working on something, and right now all of those things are falling into place."

Roger that, Curt!

:salut:

Billy's in at 70 and T-10 at -2. John Faidley, head professional at Forsyth CC in Winston-Salem, NC, shot 68 today and is also -2 and T-10. John participated in my 18-hour Alignment Golf Workshop March 15-16 in Greensboro -- as did Curt and Billy -- and invited me to teach two days at his club the same week.

With more than 2,000 members, the Carolinas PGA Section is the largest in the country. A select number of those members were in the 162-man field who teed it up Tuesday. The three aforementioned players are in the final groups. Congrats, guys!

Maybe not the final round results Curt was looking for, but a wonderful tournament anyway. I'm proud to have you out there representing LBG as a wonderful player, and a first class gentleman. Great job Curt!
