I need your help swinging better

Hello all. I have been a keen and a regular reader of LBG forum and really amazed with the wealth of information being exchanged here. I've been practicing a lot of basic and acquired motion over 4 years and got my hcp from 11 to 6 increasing my driver distance from 200yds to 240 yds. I can swing or hit with good results. Driver distances average, irons are quite straight but short... 6 iron only 155yds. I am looking forward to do better and looking at my recent swing on video, I seem to not being able to get better. I still flip my left wrist on full swings no matter how hard I try to maintain the left wrist flat thru impact.

Here are videos taken recently

Do I need to work more on zone 1 the pivot? I have the TGM book 6th edition . A few days ago, I tried to get my hands to travel faster thru impact by having my left hip clearing faster and was getting better distances. Thanks for your help/suggestions.

Great swing...I just can't comment on changes because it looks good to my untrained eye.

Where was that, looks familiar to me.

The second clip didn't play on my system fully, but from what I see, I would focus on the finish swivel, and a divot.

Thanks GMB. I doubt you've been there. That's from Tamarina in the island of Mauritius. Just google it and you'll find. See how far LBG can travel? May be you've been here afterall?

If only I could get rid of the flip, but then I'm a straight shooter.

Edz, I normally take a divot but yes I do tend to angle hinge? But then even with angle hinge, there must be a finish swivel.
Did you mean horizontal hinge rather? Thanks a lot.

The geometry looks good from here.

I thought your back foot looked a tad too relaxed towards, but it is difficult to see in the video how hard your feet are working. Ideally it should work pretty hard until the hands are past the right hip. If you feel that you have more distance in you, maybe you should practice swinging (or is it hitting?) from the feet.

7-17: Halting the Backstroke motion with the Feet and letting this same tension pull the Downstroke through Impact is "swinging from the Feet" and gives the Stroke maximum Swing Radius.

In my personal opinion this is also a requirement for obtaining maximum thrust. It's the ground force that everyone is talking about these days. If you're not doing this already there's at least a club length in engaging the feet properly.

Yea, I remember that place from a dream...now I am the village idiot, familiar :laughing9....do you live there or was it a vacation

GMB not wanting you to salivate, but yes I do live there and can play every day of the year...except during cyclones of course because your insurance cover would be void.

Thanks everybody who have given their advices. Yes I do need to use my feet more as Sevam? Been working with putting some resistance in the right foot, but eventually lost it and focussed more on keeping my tushline. Lot of work to do. It's great to be on this forum guys and learning everytime.

It looked to me like you have a nice motion back, but coming through you are using the right side/shoulder to square up, rather than the straightening right arm with a bent right wrist (passive in the case of swinging, but still very important).

I would focus on horizontal hinge, hitting punch shots and holding the finish at both arms straight to look, look, look. Where is the toe of the club pointing? Is the left wrist flat, right wrist bent?

Stick a comb in your golf glove, it will help you feel the finish swivel as you move past both arms straight with a flat left wrist with partial shots.
