Brian Gay has opened with 72-69=143 (+1) and made the cut (+3) by two. Jay Williamson shot 75-70=145 and missed by two.

Brian Gay today shot 72 (+2), but dropped only eleven spots to T-47. He is at 213 (+3) for the tournament. http://www.pgatour.com/leaderboards/current/r010/

The Champion Course at PGA National is one tough Par 70, and a good round tomorrow will pass a lot of TOUR folk on the way to the pay window.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational is a $6,000,000 limited field tournament and the premier event of the Florida swing. Brian's got Arnie's invitation and will be there.
