To Roll Or Not To Roll That Is The Question

I've logically backed myself into a corner. If you don't zero out #3 at address, and use horizontal hinging and a swinging procedure utilizing left arm rotation, it occurs to me that the aiming point cannot be at the ball or along a line through the ball(normally the plane line) unless #3 is "dumped" or eliminated after or along with #2(wrist cock). Otherwise throwout action would cause the clubhead to miss the ball with enough #3. In fact, not expending #3 and aiming at a point on a line suitably inside the plane line would be a nice method of hitting the inside aft quadrant of the ball. The problem is that, that would make a straight plane line impossible, and be a violation of one of the three imperatives! What do you say about that?

Note - I can't name any names off the top, but I've seen tour players who at impact, still have #3 intact.

I will work on trying to understand your post again tomorrow, but for tonight-- after several attempts -- I remain mystified. Suffice it to say that I canhit the Ball with or without the #3 Accumulator, using any of the ninePlane Line/Stance Line Combinations, with any Hinge Action, and witha Frozen Right Wrist -- Hitting or Swinging. Also, with anyClub and with the Ball positioned for Straighaway Flight or anyalternative Aiming Point.

As to the Tour players with the #3 Accumulator Angle intact at Impact, that isexactly what you should be seeing. At Impact, the Left Wrist is...

Flat -- not Bent or Arched;

Level -- not Cocked or Uncocked; and

Vertical -- not Turned or Rolled.

When you see the # 3 Accumulator Angle at Impact, you are seeing a Level LeftWrist. And that is correct.

Two inches later, the Left Wrist is fully Uncocked, the Primary Lever Assembly(6-A-2) is at Full Extension, and the #3 Accumulator Angle is Zero.

Question:

Do you feel Clubhead Lag?

Seriously...

From the Top through Impact...

Do you Feel the Clubhead Lag?
